The staff at Schlumberger Water Services deliver technical consultancy, training and research services to our clients in a wide range of fields. Our wide range of services and project experiences are described under the following general headings:

  • Mining: covering all phases of mine life, from pre-feasibility through to closure.
  • Water resources: evaluation, development and management on all scales, from individual abstractions to entire river basins.
  • Water engineering: for both surface water (flood hazard management and dam rehabilitation, for example) and groundwater (drilling and test pumping).
  • International development: featuring our work to assist institutions and stakeholders in the water sector to develop their capacity to manage water jointly and sustainably.
  • Environmental services: covering subjects as diverse as environmental impact assessment, geochemistry, risk assessment, remediation, and wetland ecology.
  • Modelling & GIS: numerical and graphical presentation of physical systems, including groundwater flow, surface water flow, hydrodynamic flood analysis, variable density flow, unsaturated flow, solute transport, open channel and pipe flow, sediment transport and dynamic systems models.

In all these fields, we can provide individual experts or multidisciplinary teams, and can cover all aspects of a project, including identification, feasibility, design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
